Something I never expected from Singapore: preserved art deco buildings in saturated shades.
I used to have a thing for Franklin Street in Tribeca. It’s still one of the best places for rusty cast iron buildings and fire escape scenery.
In Paestum, Italy.
Wish I had kept a larger version of this image, which I snapped when a friend and I hopped down to Paestum for the day from Rome, and it was so rainy that we ended up being the only tourists in the archaeological site.
Naturally by the end of the day, we were so soaked to the bone that our fingers were puckering, but we had had ancient Greek temples completely to ourselves.
Eero Saarinen’s TWA Flight Center at New York’s JFK Airport. A protected building, it’s currently being restored.
